About Mark Posta
Director of Tennis for Love Tennis Management
Mark Posta was introduced to tennis at age seven in Sandusky, Ohio, where he began playing at Baywinds Athletic Club. The game became more than a sport — following the loss of his father, tennis provided structure, community, and healing. That experience shaped his belief that tennis is not just a game, but a vehicle for personal growth.
Mark went on to compile more than 100 high-school career wins, qualify for the Ohio state tournament four times, and earn two district championships and two sectional championships. He was recognized with the Firelands Positive People Living Award. His performance earned him an NCAA Division I scholarship to Youngstown State University, where he competed at the No. 1 singles position.
After his playing career, Mark built an extensive coaching resume as a Head Tennis Professional. He developed junior and adult programs, directed tournaments, and provided community tennis instruction. His experience spans South Florida academy-level instruction, program development in Ohio, and expansion of the Santa Monica junior program before relocating to Greenville, South Carolina.
In Greenville, Mark founded Love Tennis Management Services with a mission to make tennis accessible throughout Upstate South Carolina. He now serves as Director of Tennis for Love Tennis Management, with Southside Park in Simpsonville as the program's home base.
